Effective immediately, Ghostbin now enforces the posting of personally identifiable information (PII) of protected individuals
and their immediate family members. While users may upload content containing PII of protected individuals,
such content may only be removed within a 60-day window if reported.
Definition of Protected Individuals:
- High-ranking government officials, including but not limited to, Justices of the Supreme Court, and Government agency personnel.
- Public figures and celebrities, including but not limited to, actors, musicians, and prominent public personalities.
- Individuals whose PII is subject to specific legal protections under applicable statutes.

Takedown Policy:

A paste will only be removed under the following conditions:
1. Breaks Our Terms of Service (ToS)
2. Legal Court Order from Our Registrar’s Country (United States)
3. Official Request from a Law Firm, Law Enforcement, or Government Agency, Accompanied by a Valid Court Order
- 3.1: Non-U.S. court orders must include a Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty (MLAT) request recognized by the United States.
4. User-Initiated Removal via Token Purchase
5. Contains PII of Protected Individuals and is reported within the 60-day window

Takedown Requests for PII of Protected Individuals:

- Government Officials:
- Takedown requests must be submitted by an authorized representative of a relevant government agency or law enforcement entity.
- Requests must be directed to: [email protected]
- Submissions must include:
- The specific paste URL.
- A duly issued court order compelling the removal of the content.
- A photo of the requesting agent's police-issued ID or badge, or both, for better guarantee of enforcement.
- Public Figures and Celebrities:
- Takedown requests must be submitted by legal counsel representing the affected individual.
- Requests must be directed to: [email protected]
- Submissions must include:
- The specific paste URL.
- A comprehensive legal justification for the takedown request, citing relevant legal statutes and precedents.

Legal Takedown Request Requirements:

To process a legal takedown request, the following must be provided:
- A clear explanation of the legal violation
- The specific URL(s) of the content in question
- Proof of authority from the requesting entity
- A valid legal basis under U.S. law (for non-ToS violations)
- Any request from law enforcement or a government agency must include a photo of the police-issued ID or badge of the requesting agent.
- For court orders and subpoenas, the issuing agent must also provide their issued ID and badge.
Requests failing to meet these criteria will be ignored.

We will take good faith actions to temporarily hide the relevant content until further review.

Abuse & False Requests:

- Fraudulent, misleading, or abusive takedown requests will not be processed.
- Repeated abuse of the process may result in refusal to handle future requests and potential blacklist from our systems.

Enforcement:

- New pastes containing PII of protected individuals will remain accessible unless reported and verified within 60 days.
- Any pastes uploaded in violation of our ToS will be subject to immediate and permanent removal.
